We want you to have a happy and memorable vacation and can help you to choose the camper most suited to your requirements. We want you to tell all your family and friends what a wonderful touring and camping holiday you had. If you're pleased with our service you'll recommend that they, too, hire a motorcaravan from us for their motorhoming holiday. Ask about our special rates, which are available for short term RV rental, such as a weekend break or longer motor home holidays, both at competitive prices to suit all budgets. Your rented camper will be waiting for you to collect and drive off and discover this beautiful country and all it has to offer.
The best way to see as much of Finland as you can is to do so in a rental motorhome. If you are looking for a romantic break, there are small campervans available to sleep 2 people and for those planning a family holiday there are large and x-large campervans sleeping up to 7 people. The medium 5 berth recreational vehicles are perfect for smaller groups, accommodating up to 5 people, so check out full details of each campavan available to rent in Kuopio by clicking the 'more details button' above. All the vehicles are equipped with power steering, which is perfect for long journeys. Additionally, onboard toilets mean that you don't have to plan you route around convenient places to stop and shower facilities mean that you can freshen up whenever you like! All mobile homes have radios, cassette players or CD players so you can listen to your favourite music or the local radio station at any time.
Kuopio, is right at the heart of the Finnish Lakeland region and is a relaxing city located between the forests and the breathtaking lakes. Just south of the town you can visit the world's largest smoke sauna, so called because it is heated by a large indoor bonfire! The Lakeland area is extensive and tremendously popular with the local Finnish people. It's easy to see why as it is a charming area full of waterways, islands and beaches. Not only is it magical, but also it is the biggest lake district in Europe. In addition to Kuopio, do visit Savonlinna, situated on two islands between Lakes Haapavesi and Pihlajavesi and perfect for discovering all the nearby islands, peninsulas and bays, which make up the most stunning area of the lakes. From here you can also visit the Linnansaari National Park which consists of Lake Haukivesi and 130 or so uninhabited islands. The main attraction has to be Linnansaari Island and it's museum of natural history. If visiting is July you will be able to enjoy the opera festival. Also, Tampere, the third largest city in Finland, is worth visiting. It is located between the Nasijarvi and Phyajarvi lakes and is home of the Lenin museum, annual international film festival and Sarkanniemi amusement park. Just north of Tampere is Jyvaskyla, well-known for its architecture, in particular, the buildings designed by Alvar Aalto. There's also a museum dedicated to him. From Tampere you can take a ferry to Hamenlinna, the oldest inland town in Finland and birthplace of Jean Sibelius. Visit his childhood home, which is now a museum, or the Hame Castle built in the 13th century by be Swedes. There's lots to do and see, but why not arrange a twin destination and either go south to Helsinki for a few days or on to Finnish Lapland, perhaps Rovaniemi, for a change of scenery?
